Huntsville Swing Dance Society

So, this Wednesday, 16 June, we will be shagging 6:30-8:30 pm at the Brahan Spring Recreation Center. The rec center is the white building located behind the Senior Center (Drake Avenue) at 3770 Ivy Avenue. Easiest access is to turn off Drake, North, and it will be on the left just after you pass the Senior Center.

There is a charge for use of the rec center so we'll have a "Donation Bucket" out and would appreciate a donation ($5 would be great ) to offset the cost. We can bring our own non-alcoholic beverages (sodas, water, etc.) and even food if we like. Hmmmm, wouldn't a cook-out prior to one of our lessons be fun??

The lessons are still free and any potential profit from the donations will be rolled back into the group in some fashion.

Hopefully this will be a temporary location and we'll be able to secure another venue in the future. Several members of the group checked on various locations around town but please feel free to suggest an alternate location(s) or even check on them and report back to the group! I'm sure we missed some.

Bottom line, let's keep on shagging and having fun! I think we have a great group of folks who love to dance, an instructor willing to donate his time and talent, and we don't want to lose that.
